A History of the 714th Tank Battalion, 1942-45 The men of the 714th Tank Battalion served their nation in its most prominent period of scarcity. A key component of the twelfth Armored Division, the 714th battled in brutal conditions against a frantic German adversary for five sequential months, driving the Nazi Armies from France and go into the German heartland.
